25-11-2024: According to the observations at (12:30) hrs M.S.T today, a low pressure area has formed over East Equatorial India Ocean and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may further intensify into a depression over South Bay of Bengal around 25-11-2024. Thereafter, its likely to move Northwestwards and may reach to Tamil Nadu(India)-Sri Lanka coasts during next 2 days. Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

A Slight earthquake of magnitude (4.3) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (4) miles south-southwest of Mingin), latitude 22.82 °N, longitude 94.47 °E, depth (117) kilometers, about (57) miles east-northeast of Hakha seismological observatory was recorded at (02) hr (44) min (30) sec M.S.T on 25th July, 2023.
