BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 20th July, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Naypyitaw, Magway Region and Kayah States, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and  Chin State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Kayin, Mon States and isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40) mph. Wave height will be about (9-12) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal.
