BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and moderate to strong elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL NEVENING OF THE 07th July, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Region and (Northern and Eastern)Shan, Kayah States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. STATE OF THE SEA: Squall with moderate to rough seas are likely at times in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coas. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (30-35) mph. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (7-10) feet in Deltaic, feet off and along Rakhine Coast and (6-8) Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.
