BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal. 

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 04th July, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions, fairly widespread in Kachin, Northern Shan, Chin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Mon State and isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine, Kayin States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Occasionally squall with rough seas will be in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coast. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (40) mph. Squall with rough seas are likely at times in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coast. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (35) mph. Wave height will be about (9-13) feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coast and (8-10) feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coast.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States.
