SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing, Magway Regions. Rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Naypyitaw, Mandalay Region and Kayah State, scattered in Upper Sagaing Region and Chin State, fairly widespread in Bago Region and Northern Shan, Rakhine States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region and isolated heavyfalls in Kachin State. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (5.91) inches in Launglon, (4.53) inches in Dawei, (4.06) inches in Mogaung, (2.99) inches in Manaung, (2.87) inches in Paung Byin, (2.80) inches in Mogoke, (2.76) inches in Myeik, (2.60) inches in Labutta, (2.17) inches in Thaton and (2.13) inches in Payathonesu.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 04th July, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Chin, Kayah States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Northern Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region and Mon State and isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Kayin States.
