SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Northern Shan State. Rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions, scattered in Naypyitaw, Kachin, Kayah States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and (Southern and Eastern)Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Yangon Region. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (4.25) inches in Khayan, (2.83) inches in Phyarpon, (2.40) inches in Kyaiklat, (2.24) inches in Kyeikkhame, (2.13) inches in Theinzayet, (2.05) inches in Maubin, (1.85) inches in Hkamti, (1.69) inches in Wakema, (1.65) inches in Myanaung and (1.61) inches in Yangon(Mayangon).
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 29th June, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Northern Shan State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Kayah State, fairly widespread in Bago Region and Kachin, Southern Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State.
