SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have scattered in Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kachin, Southern Shan, Kayah States and isolated in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Chin State and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (3°C) above April average temperatures in Taninthayi Region and Mon State, (2°C) above April average temperatures in Bago, Yangon Regions and Eastern Shan, Rakhine, Kayin States and (2°C) below April average temperatures in Magway Region and Chin State, (3°C) to (4) below April average temperatures in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (42°C) each in Chauk and Bawlakhae and (41°C) each in Magway, Taunggu, Shwekyin, Nyaunglaybin, Hpasaung, Myawaddy, Belin and Theinzayet. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (0.59) inch in Meiktila, (0.35) inch in Pyawbwe, (0.34) inch in Htilin, (0.27) inch in Loikaw and (0.20) inch in Mahlaing.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea, South Bay and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 26th April, 2023: Rain or thundershowers are likely to be scattered in Taninthayi Region and Kachin State and isolated in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Bago Regions and Southern Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
The Condition of Cumulonimbus Cloud: The starting development of Cumulonimbus clouds over the Taninthayi Region and Kayah, Kayin States. Along the area where the Cumulonimbus clouds move, strong winds and rain accompanied the rain, thunder, lightning weather phenomena such as lightning and hail may occur, so it is recommended to be aware in advance.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4 - 6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
