SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers has beenscattered in Kachin, (Southern and Eastern)Shan States and isolated in Mandalay Region and Northern Shan State and weatherhas been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (2°C) above March average temperaturesin Taninthayi Region and Mon State, (2°C) below March average temperatures in Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah State and(3°C) below March average temperature in Chin State and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States.The significant day temperatures were (41°C) in Chauk, (40°C) in Nyaung Oo and (39°C) in Pauk. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (0.91) inch in Loilin, (0.43) inch in Naungcho, (0.28) inch in Namsam and (0.11) inch each in Putao and Machanbaw.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 16th March, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Kachin State, scattered in Upper Sagaing Region and (Northern and Eastern)Shan State and isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Sourthern Shan, Chin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3 - 7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
