25-11-2024:According to the observations at (17:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Depression over South Bay of Bengal has moved West-Northwestwards and reached over the Southwest Bay of Bengal. It is centered at about 750 Nautical miles Southwest of Coco Island (Myanmar) and 540 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Chennai(India). Weather is cloudy over the Andaman Sea, South Bay and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
A slight earthquake of magnitude (3.8) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (17) miles west-northwest of Yin Mar Bin), latitude 22.13°N, longitude 94.64°E, depth (74) kilometers, about (66) miles north-northwest of Nyaung-U seismological observatory was recorded at (15)hr (41)min (01)sec M.S.T on 25th February, 2023.
