SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperature were (2°C) below February average temperatures in Bago, Yangon Regions and Eastern Shan, Chin States and (4°C) above February average temperature in Southern Shan Stateand about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (1°C) in Namsam, (2°C) each in Mongyangand Hakha, (4°C)in Kyaukmae, (5°C)inPyinoolwin and (6°C) each in Tiddim and Mogoke.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and generally fair elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 07th February, 2023: Light rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Taninthayi Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (60%).Weather will be partly cloudyin Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
