BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (17:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal almost stationary and it is centered at about (760) Nautical miles Southwest of Coco Island, (870) Nautical miles Southwest of Hainggyigyun(Myanmar), (60) Nautical miles East-Southeast of Trincomalee(Sri Lanka) and (215) Nautical miles Southeast of Karaikal(India). Weather is cloudy over the Southwest Bay and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 02nd February, 2023: Light rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Chin States. Degree of certainty is (60%).Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA:Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4 - 7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
