SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Taninthayi Region. Weather has been partly cloudy in Bago, Yangon, AyeyarwadyRegions and Kachin, (Southernand Eastern)Shan,Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) below January average temperature in Taninthayi Region, (2°C) below January average temperatures in Yangon Region and Northern Shan State and (2°C) above January average temperatures in Naypyitaw and Chin, Kayah States and about Januaryaverage temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (2°C) each in Namsamand Heho, (3°C) each in Kyaukmae and Mongyang, (4°C) each in Thipaw, Loilin and Hakha. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded was (0.04) inch in Kawthaung.
BAY INFERENCE:Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 27th January, 2023:Light rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Taninthayi Region. Degree of certainty is (60%).Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, AyeyarwadyRegions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair inthe remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4 - 7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
