SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Chin, Rakhine, Kayin States andpartly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) below January average temperaturein Chin State, (2°C) below January average temperatures in Yangon Region and Northern Shan State and (2°C) aboveJanuary average temperatures in Kayah, Kayin, Mon States and about January average temperatures in the remainingRegions and States. The significant night temperatures were (-1°C) in Hakha, (3°C) each in Namsam and Pyinoolwin, (4°C) each in Kyaukmae, Heho and Mongyang and (5°C) each in Loilin, Tiddim and Mogoke.
BAY INFERENCE:Weather is generally fair over the North Bay of Bengal and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 12th January, 2023:Light rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Taninthayi Region. Degree of certainty is (60%).Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Kachin, Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair inthe remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3 - 5) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
