A low pressure area may form over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal. Weather will be a few cloud to partly cloud over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and generally fair elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Rain or thundershowers will be above normal in Tanintharyi Region, below normal in NayPyiTaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States and about normal in Kachin State.
Rainy days are expected about (2) to (3) days in Tanintharyi Region and Kachin State, about (1) day in Eastern Shan, Mon States and partly cloudy in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Northern and Southern Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin States.

Night temperature will be about normal of January average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States.
