SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Eastern Shan, Chin, Rakhine, KayahStates and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) below January average temperature in Chin State and (2°C) above January average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Ayeyarwady Region and Rakhine, Kayah States and about January average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (0°C) in Hakha, (3°C) in Mongyang, (4°C) each in Namsam and Heho and (5°C) each in Kyaukmae,Tiddim and Pyinoolwin.
BAY INFERENCE:Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and generally fair over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 11th January, 2023:Light rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Taninthayi Region. Degree of certainty is (60%).Weather will be partly cloudy in Mandalay Region and Kachin, (Northern and Southern)Shan, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair inthe remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3 - 5) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in Kachin, Shan and Chin States.
