24-11-2024: According to the observations at (12:30) hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining East Equatorial India Ocean has intensified into a Well Marked Low Pressure Area. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may further intensify into a depression over South Bay of Bengal around 25-11-2024. Thereafter, it is likely continue to move Northwestwards and may reach to Tamil Nadu (India)-Sri Lanka coasts during next 2 days. Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea, South Bay and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Monsoon & Bay of Bengal Condition

Two low pressure areas may form over the Bay of Bengal and one may further intensify into a Depression. Monsoon will be moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal. One time monsoon Break may occur in July.

Rain Condition & Rainy  Day

        Rain will be expected below normal in Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Mon State and about normal in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah and Kayin States.

Rainy days will be expected 20 to 26 days in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Region and Kachin, Rakhine Kayin and Mon States, 13 to 19 days in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions, Shan, Chin, Kayah States.
