SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Ayeyarwady Region and (Southern and Eastern)Shan State and isolated in Bago, Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) above December average temperatures in Chin, Rakhine States, (3°C) to (4°C) above December average temperatures in Sagaing, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and (Northern and Southern) Shan, Kayin, Mon States, (5°C) to (6°C) above December average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Eastern Shan, Kayah States and about December average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (7°C) in Hakha, (8°C) in Tiddim, (9°C) in Putao and (10°C) in Namsam. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (1.38) inches in Kungyangon, (1.22) inches in Phyarpon,  (0.91) inch in Wakema, (0.47) inch in Maubin, (0.39) inch in Kawthaung, (0.31) inch in Pathein and (0.20) inch each in Namsam and Myaungmya.

BAY INFERENCE:  Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 4th December, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region, scattered in Kayin, Mon States and isolated in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Rakhine, Kayah States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be generally fair in Naypyitaw, Sagaing and Mandalay Regions and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at time Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (30-35) mph. Sea will be slight to moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (7-9) feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and (4-6) feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coast.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated to scattered rain or thundershowers in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Mon States.

FORECAST FOR NAYPYITAW AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 4th December, 2022:                         Generally fair weather.

FORECAST FOR YANGON AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 4th December, 2022:              Likelihood of isolated light rain or thundershowers. Degree of certainty is (60%).

FORECAST FOR MANDALAY AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 4th December, 2022:          Generally fair weather.
