BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (06:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure over the Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Odisha and West Bengal Coast(India) has moved near Odisha Coast, India. Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 26th June, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, scattered in Naypyitaw and Magway Region, (Eastern and Southern) Shan State, fairly widespread in Northern Shan, Chin and Kayah States, widespread in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions and Mon State. Degree of certainly is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35) m.p.h. Wave height will be about (7 - 10) feet along Myanmar Coasts.
