BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 25th June, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, scattered in Naypyitaw, Magway Region and Kayah State, fairly widespread in Shan  State, widespread in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Chin Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Taninthayi Region and  Mon State. Degree of certainly is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35) m.p.h. Wave height will be about (6 - 9) feet along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of strong monsoon.
