SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T:During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have beenscattered in Taninthayi Region andisolated inYangon Regionand Southern Shan, Mon States andweather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, (Northern and Eastern)Shan, Chin, Kayah, Kayin States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C)below November average temperature inKachinState and (2°C) above November average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Ayeyarwady Region and Kayah, Mon Statesand (3°C) above November average temperatures in Kayin State and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatureswere (7°C)eachin Putao, Hakha, (8°C)in Tiddim.The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (2.09) inchesin Kawthaung, (0.67) inch inYe, (0.59) inch in Theinzayet and (0.39) inch in Pinlaung.
BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (12:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Depression over Westcentral and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal moved West-Northwestwards and weakened into a Well Marked Low Pressure Area over Westcentral and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal off South Andhra Pradesh-North Tamil Nadu coasts(India). It is likely to move slowly West-Northwestwards and weaken into a Low Pressure Area during next 24 hours.Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 23rdNovember, 2022:Rain or thundershowers will be fairy widespread in Taninthayi Region andisolated in Southern Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States.Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Bago,Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Eastern Shan, Chin States and generally fairin remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA:Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (30) to (35) mph. Wave height will be about (7-9) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
