Depression
According to the observations at (17:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal has moved Northwestwards. It is centered at about (600) Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island, (680) Nautical miles West- Southwest ofHainggyigyun(Myanmar), (260) Nautical miles Northeast of Jaffna(Sri Lanka), (175) Nautical miles East-Southeast of Chennai and (240) Nautical miles South-Southeast of Machilipatnam(India).
It is not moving towards Myanmar coasts, the present stage of the Depression is coded yellow stage.

The Depression is located at Latitude (12.7) degree North and Longitude (83.2) degree East, centre pressure of Depression is (1003) hPaand maximum wind speed near the center is (30) miles per hour at (17:30)hrs MST today.
During next (36) hrs forecast
It is likely continue to move West-Northwestwards towards North Tamilnadu-Puducherry and South Andhra Pradesh coasts (India) and weaken into a well marked low pressure area during next (36) hours.
