BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (17:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining South Bay of Bengal almost stationary and still persists. It is centered at about (520) Nautical miles Southwest of Coco Island, (630) Nautical miles Southwest of Hainggyigyun (Myanmar), (320) Nautical miles East of Jaffna (Sri Lanka), (335) Nautical miles East-Southeast of Chennai (India). Weather is partly cloudy over the Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 21st November, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Taninthayi Region and Southern Shan State and isolated in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Eastern Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%). Weather will be partly cloudy in remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (30) to (35) mph. Wave height will be about (7-9) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
