Low Pressure Area Condition

According to the observations at (12:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Low Pressure Area over Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining North Andaman Sea still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwest wards and gradually concentrate into a Depression over South Bay of Bengal around (19.11.2022). It is likely to reach North Tamilnadu-Puducherry and South Andhra Pradesh coasts(India) around (22.11.2022).
General caution
Due to the low pressure area, rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayah, Kayin, Mon States and isloated to scattered in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Bago Regions and Shan (South and East), Chin, Rakhine States from this morning to (20.11.2022). Squall with rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (35) mph. Wave height will be about (8-10) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

Due to the low pressure area, people should be awared the rainfall with strong wind, thunderstorms, and domestic flight, trawlers, vessels and ships off and along Myanmar Coasts.
