BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (17:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the Andaman Sea and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and intensify into a Depression over the Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and adjoining the Southeast Bay of Bengal around (22.10.2022) and into a Deep Depression on (23.10.2022). It is recurveNorthwards and intensify intoa Cyclonic Stormover Westcentraland EastcentralBay of Bengal around (24.10.2022). It is likely to move North-Northeastwards and reach near West Bengal, (India)-Bangladesh Coasts on (25.10.2022).Weather cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay and a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SPECIAL FEACTURES: According to the observations at (17:30)hrs MST today, the Tropical Depression over the South China move Northwestwards slowly. It is centered at about (80)nautical miles Northeast of Dong Hoi, Vietnam. It is likely to move Northwestwards and weaken into a Low Pressure Area over upper Vietnam.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 21stOctober, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region and Chin State and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region.Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squall with rough seas are likely at times in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (35- 40) mph. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (8-10) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and (5-7) feet off and along Rakhine Coast.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:Increase of rain in Lower Myanmar areas.
