SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Naypyitaw and Kayah State. Rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Lower Sagaing and Magway Regions, scattered in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon Regions and Kachin, (Northern and Eastern)Shan, Rakhine, Kayin States, fairly widespread in Ayeyarwady Region and Chin, Mon States and widespread in Taninthayi Region and Southern Shan State with isolated heavyfalls in Mandalay Region. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (1.88) inches in Kya-In-Seikkyi, (1.73) inches in Hlaingtat, (1.50) inches each in Kawkareik and Kyaiklat, (1.42) inches in Myeik, (1.34) inches in Wakema, (1.22) inches in Hpa-an and (1.10) inches in Myaungmya.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Northeast Bay and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 10th October, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine, Kayah States and fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, (Northern and Eastern)Shan, Chin, Kayin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Taninthayi Regions.
