SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Taninthayi Region and Eastern Shan State, scattered in Northern Shan State, fairly widespread in Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kayah State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (2.80) inches in Kyeikdon, (2.48) inches in Kyeikkhame, (2.13) inches in Loilin, (1.85) inches in Yangon (Northern Dagon), (1.79) inches in Hlaingbwe, (1.46) inches in Monywa(Kyemone), (1.42) inches in Nyaungshwe, (1.38) inches in Loikaw, (1.32) inches in Saw and (1.26) inches in Lashio.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and weak elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 26th September, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in (Northern and Eastern) Shan State, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Southern Shan States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region. STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
