BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (18:30)hrs M.S.T today, the depression over Central and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal has further intensified into a deep depression and moved over East Central Bay of Bengal. It is centered at about (260)miles Southwest of Pathein, (310)miles Southwest of Kyaukphyu, (325)miles Southwest of Sittwe (Myanmar), (440)miles South-Southwest of Chittagong (Bangladesh) and forecast to move Northeast wards. It is forecast to intensify into a cyclonic storm during next (24)hrs. Monsoon is moderate over the East Central Bay of Bengal and strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal. Weather is cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 29th May, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread Sagaing, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Reagions, Mon State, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Bago Region, Kachin, Rakhine, Kayah and Kayin States and scattered in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavy falls in Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Mon State, isolated heavy falls in Mandalay, Magway, Bago and Taninthayi Regions, Rakhine State.
