BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (06:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure over Southeast Bay and adjoining Central Bay of Bengal, has intensifiedand now lies over Central and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal .It is Forecast to a depression during next (12)hrs. Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay of Bengal. Weather is cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 28th May, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Eastern Shan State, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw and Magway Regions, Kachin, (Southern & Northern ) Shan, Rakhine and Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavy falls in Mandalay, Bago,Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Rakhine and Mon States. STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with moderate to rough seas will be experienced in Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35-40) m.p.h.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine State.
