SPECIAL FEACTURES: According to the observations at (06:30) hrs MST today, the Low Pressure Area over the boundary of Vietnam and Laos has move West-Southwestwards and as a wave over Eastern Myanmar Areas still persists.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 12th August, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kachin, Chin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Bago, Yangon Regions and Southern Shan, Kayin, Mon States and isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and (Northern and Eastern)Shan, Kayah, Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35-40) mph. Wave height will be about (8-11) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
