SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Eastern Shan State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Magway and Ayeyarwady Regions, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Rakhine, Kayin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Magway Region and isolated heavyfalls in Bago Region and Kayin State. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (3.80) inches in Paing Kyone, (3.50) inches in Madauk, (2.60) inches in Chipwi, (2.44) inches in Putao, (1.93) inches in Magway, (1.85) inches in Kyauktaw, (1.81) inches in Heho, (1.77) inches in Tamu, (1.71) inches in Thabaung, (1.58) inches in Taunggyi, (1.53) inches in Taungdwingyi and (1.49) inches in Hpa-an
BAY INFERENCE Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 26th July, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Shan, Kayah States, fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region .
