BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (15:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Northwest Bay of Bengal off South Odisha coast still persists. It is very likely to become more marked during next 48 hours. Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOONOF THE 12th July, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, (Northern and Eastern)Shan, Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood regionally heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region and isolated heavyfalls in Mandalay Region and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squall with rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35) mph. Wave height will be about (8-12) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
