BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and strong elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 5th July, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Magway Region and Kayah State, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing and Mandalay Regions and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Sagaing, Mandalay, Taninthayi Regions and Northern Shan, Rakhine, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Ocassional squall with rough seas will be experienced in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40) mph. Squall with rough seas are likely at times in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coast . Wave height will be about (9-13) feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and (8-11) feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coast.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuations of increase of rain in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Shan, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States.
