SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours,rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Magway Region and Chin State,fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing,MandalayRegions and Northern ShanStatesand widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing Region and Mon State and isolated heavyfalls in Mandalay, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin States.The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (4.53) inches in Shwegu,(4.17) inches in Dawei, (3.50) inchesinMawlamyine,(3.27) inchesin NaypyitawAirport (Ela),(3.24) inchesin Kyeikdone, (3.23) inches inChaungsone, (3.03) inches in Theinzayet, (2.84) inches in Sittwe, (2.79) inches in Yangon(Kaba-Aye), (2.76) inches in Myitsone, (2.72) inches in Mudon, (2.68) inches each in Kyeikkhame and Kawthaung, (2.56) inches in Kyeikmayaw, (2.54) inches in Kya-In-Seikkyi and (2.52) inches in Belin.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strongover the Andaman Sea and South Bay and moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 02ndJuly, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will befairly widespread in Mandalay, Magway, Regionsand ChinState and widespread inthe remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay,Taninthyi Regions and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States.Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA:Squall with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (30-35) mph. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar Waters. Wave height will be about (7-9) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and (5-7) feet off and along Rakhine Coast.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:Increase of rain in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States.
