SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rainor thundershowers have been isolated in Lower Sagaing and MagwayRegions, fairly widespread inTaninthayi Regionand (Northern and Eastern)Shan, Kayah, Kayin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Naypyitaw and Rakhine State and isolated heavyfalls in Mandalay Region and Kachin State.The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (6.93) inches in Pauk Taw, (5.39) inches in Bu Thi Daung, (4.32) inches in Mye Bon, (4.09) inches in Myauk U,(3.70) inches in Chi Pwi, (3.46) inches in Kyauktaw, (3.22) inchesin Min Bya, (2.95) inches in Taungkok, (2.72) inchesin Maungdaw, (2.50) inches in Pon Na Gyun, (2.44) inches in Ra The Daung, (2.40) inches in Kyaukpyu, (2.20) inches in Okkan and (2.17) inches each in Naypyitaw (Pobbathiri) and Ann.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 20th June, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will bescattered in Lower Sagaing, Magway and Taninthayi Regions, fairly widespread in Mandalay Region and Shan, Kayah, Kayin Statesand widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Rakhine States.
