SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, likely to be isolated light rain or thundershowers are Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State, weather has been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Region, Chin State and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (3°C) to (4°C) above March average temperatures in Sagaing and Magway Regions, Kachin, Shan, Chin and Rakhine States and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (42°C) in Bawlakhae, (41°C) each in Chauk, Minbu, Magway and Aunglan. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded was Mawlaik (0.08) inch.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair in the Andaman Sea and Southwest Bay and partly cloudy elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 20th March, 2015: Light rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in the Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State, weather will be partly cloudy in the Mandalay, Magway and Taninthayi Regions, Northern Shan and Chin States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
