SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing Region and Chin State. Rain or thundershowers have been isolated inNaypyitaw, Mandalay, MagwayRegions and (Northernand Southern)ShanState, scattered inUpper Sagaing Region and Eastern Shan, Rakhine, KayahStates, fairly widespread inBagoRegion and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Mon State. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (3.23) inches in Kyeikkhame, (2.95) inches inMudon, (2.32) inchesin Kyeikmayaw,(2.17)inches in Myaungmya, (2.05)inches in Paung, (1.80)inches in Paing Kyone, (1.70)inches in Myeik, (1.57)inches in Launglon, (1.46)inches in Pyinoolwin and (1.41)inches in Mogoke.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderateto strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 7th June, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing,Mandalay, Magway Regions, scattered in Naypyitaw andNorthern Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Bago Regionsand (Southern and Eastern)Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and Stateswith likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, MonStates. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA:Squall with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (30-35) mph. Wave height will be about (7-10) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:Likelihood of increase of rain in Upper SagaingRagion and Kachin, Mon States.
