SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Taninthayi Region, scattered in Mandalay, Bago Regions and Southern Shan, Kayah, Kayin States and isolated in Lower Sagaing Region with isolated heavyfalls in  Lower Sagaing and Mandalay Regions. Weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (6°C) above April average temperature in Chin State, (3°C) to (4°C) above April average temperatures in Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and (Southern and Eastern) Shan State and (2°C) above April average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Magway, Yangon Regions and Northern Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States and about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (45°C) in Gangaw, (44°C) each in Myingyan, Taungdwingyi and Bawlakhae and (43°C) each in Vaar, Monywa, Kyemone, Nyaung Oo, Tada U(Avia-Met), Chauk and Magway. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (1.69) inches in Sagaing, (1.54) inches in Tada U(Avia-Met), (1.22) inches in Kyeikdon, (0.90) inch in Meiktila and (0.75) inch in Kawkareik.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 30th April, 2022: Weather will be partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing, Magway Regions and Chin, Rakhine States. Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Taninthayi Region, fairly widespread in Eastern Shan and Kayah States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Southern Shan, Kayin, Mon States and isolated in in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA:  Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated to scattered rain or thundershowers in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States.
