SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours,rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Kayah, Mon States andisolated in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Chin, Rakhine States. Weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.Day temperatureswere (2°C) below April average temperatures in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago Regions and (North and East)Shan, Kayah, Kayin States andabout April average temperaturesinthe remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (40°C) each in Chauk, Gangaw and Hpasaung. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (0.98) inch in Maubin, (0.24) inch each in Tamu, Mudon, Kyeikkhame and Myeik and (0.20) inch in Machanbaw.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay and a few cloudover the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
