SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Kachin State and isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Mon State. Weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (4°C) above April average temperature in Chin State and about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (44°C) in Chauk, (42°C) each in Magway, Taungdwingyi, Gangaw and Hpasaung and (41°C) each in Vaar, Mingin, Myinmu, Myingyan,Taunggu and Bawlakhae. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (1.38) inches in Putao, (0.75) inch in Manchanbaw and (0.31) inch in Hkamti.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the North, Westcentral and Southwest Bay of Bengal and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 15th April, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in KachinState, scattered in Upper Sagaing Region and Northern Shan Stateand isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Taninthayi Regions and (South and East) Shan, Chin, Kayin, MonStates. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of scatteredrain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Shan, Kayah States.
