SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been fairly widespread in Eastern Shan State, scattered in Southern Shan, Kayah and Mon States and isolated in Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Northern Shan State and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (3°C) above April average temperature in Chin State and (3°C) to (4°C) below April average temperatures in Kachin, Eastern Shan and KayahStatesand about April average temperature in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (40°C) each in Vaar, Myinmu, Chauk, Magway, Taungdwingyi, Gangaw and Taungguand (39°C) each in Monywa(Kyemone), Myingyan, NyaungOo, Aunglan, Ann, Pyay and Hpasaung. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (1.93) inches in Chaungsone, (1.73) inches in Kyeikkhame, (0.63) inch in Kyeikmayaw, (0.32) inch in Kengtung, (0.24) inch each in Mongyang and Pyinoolwinand (0.16) inch in Kalewa.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the West Central Bay and Southwest Bay and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 11th April, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Shan States and isolated in LowerSagaing, Mandalay, Taninthayi Regions and Chin, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7)feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
