SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, Rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Kachin State, scattered in Shan State and isolated in Sagaing, Mandalay, Yangon, Taninthayi Regions. Weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw and Bago Region and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (6°C) below April average temperature in Kachin State, (3°C) to (4°C) below April average temperatures in Eastern Shan, Kayin States, (2°C) below April average temperatures in Upper Sagaing, Magway, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and (North and South) Shan State and (2°C) above April average temperature in Chin State and about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (39°C) each in Chauk, Gangaw, Taunggu, Bawlakhae, Hpasaung and Theinzayet. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (0.99) inch in Kawthaung, (0.91) inch in Putao, (0.55) inch in Machanbaw, (0.44) inch in Coco-Island and (0.28) inch in Bhamo.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the North and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 06th April, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Kachin State, scattered in Taninthayi Region and (North and East) Shan State and isolated in Upper Sagaing, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Southern Shan, Kayah States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
