SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Shan, Chin States and isolated in Naypyitaw and Bago Region. Weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (3°C) above March average temperature in Chin State and (2°C)below March average temperatures in Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kachin State and about March average temperature in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (40°C)inBawlakhae, (39°C) each in Tharrawady and Hpasaung and (38°C) each inNaypyitaw(Zayarthiri), Aunglan, Taungdwingyi, Pyay, Taunggu, Nyaunglaybin, Ngathaichaung, Hpa-an, Myawaddy and Theinzayet.The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (0.20) inch each inKyaukmae and Naungcho, (0.12) inch each in Kanbalu, Myinmu and Pyinoolwin, (0.08) inch each inThipaw, Kengtung and Naypyitaw Airport (Ela) and (0.04) inch in Kani.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 30th March, 2022:Weather will be partly cloudy in Naypyitaw, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions. Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State, scattered in Lower Sagaing, TaninthayiRegions and Shan, Chin States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States.Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
