SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Taninthayi Region and isolated inKayin State. Weather has been partly cloudy in Sagaing Region and Kachin, (Northern and Southern)Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (6°C) above March average temperature in Kachin State, (3°C) to (4°C) above March average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Shan, Chin, Kayah States, (2°C) above March average temperatures in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine, Mon States and about March average temperature in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (43°C) in Chauk, (42°C) each in Sagaing, Tada U (Aviation Met), Minbu, Aunglan, Taungdwingyi and (41°C) each in Mandalay, Nyaung Oo, Kyaukse(Lunkyaw), Magway, Sinbyugyun and Bawlakhae. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (1.14) inches in Payathonesu and (0.39) inch in Myeik.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the Andaman Sea and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 13th March, 2022:Rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Taninthayi Region. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
