SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T:During the past (24) hours,rain or thundershowers have been fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region, scattered in Mon State andisolated in Yangon Region and Kayin State. Weatherhas been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing Region and (Eastern)Shan,Chin, KayahStates and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.Night temperatures were(2°C) below February average temperatures in Lower Sagaing Region and Kachin State,(3°C) below February average temperatures in Uppper SagaingRegion and Chin State and (2°C) above February average temperatures in Ayeyarwady Regionand (3°C) to (4°C) above February average temperatures in Bago Region and Southern Shan, Kayin, Mon States, (5°C) above February average temperatures in Naypyitaw and about February average temperaturein the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (-1°C)in Hakha and(5°C) each in Kyaukmae and Mongyang.The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were(1.73) inches in Payathonesu, (1.14) inches in Kawthaung, (1.02) inches in Belin and (0.39) inch in Dawei.
BAY INFERENCE:Weather is a few cloudover the North Bay and Westcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
