SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, light rain have been isolated in Kachin State. Weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Taninthayi Regions and Northern Shan, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) to (4°C) below January average temperatures in Upper Sagaing, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Eastern Shan, Kayah, Kayin States and (2°C) below January average temperatures in Bago Region and Chin, Rakhine States and about January average temperature in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (0°C) each in Namsam and Hakha, (2°C) each in Heho, Mongyang, Tiddim and Mingin, (4°C) each in Putao, Kyaukmae, Loilin, Falam, Matupi and Pyinoolwin and (5°C) each in Kengtung, Tongzan and Loikaw.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloudto partly cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay and generally fair over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 1stFebruary, 2022:Light rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated inKachin State. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Taninthayi Regions and Northern Shan State and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
