SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours,rain or thundershowers have beenfairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region, Scattered in Kachin and Chin States and isolated in Mon State. Weather has been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Taninthayi Regions and Shan, Rakhine States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were(2°C) below January average temperatures in Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and EasternShan State, (2°C) above January average temperatures in Naypyitaw and Mandalay Region, (3°C) to (4°C) above January average temperatures in Sagaing Region and Kachin, Chin States and about January average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (3°C) each in Heho and Mongyang and (4°C) each in Namsam and Mogoke. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (0.36)inch in Ye and (0.08)inch each in Monyin and Tamu.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the North Bay and South Bay and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 25thJanuary, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State, scattered in Chin State and isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Northern ShanState. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Magway, Taninthayi Regions and (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Rakhine, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
