SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin State and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) below January average temperature in Eastern Shan State, (2°C) below January average temperature in Northern Shan State and (2°C) above January average temperature in Naypyitaw and about January average temperature in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (0°C) in Hakha, (2°C) each in Namsam and Heho, (3°C) each in Loilin and Mongyang, (4°C) each in Kyaukmae and Pyinoolwin and (5°C) each in Lashio, Pinlaung, Kengtung and Mogoke.
BAY INFERENCE:Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay and generally fair over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 08th January, 2022:Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing,Taninthayi Regions and Kachin State and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated light rain in Kachin State.
