SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, light rain have been isolated in Kachin State. Weather has been generally fair in Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayin State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) above January average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayin, Mon States and about January average temperature in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (0°C) in Hakha, (3°C) each in Namsam and Heho, (4°C) each in Kyaukmae and Pyinoolwin and (5°C) each in Loilin and Mogoke.
BAY INFERENCE:Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay anda few cloudelsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 05th January, 2022: Light rain are likely to be isolated in Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Shan, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
