SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Taninthayi Regions and (Northern and Southern)Shan, Rakhine, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) to (4°C) below December average temperature in (Northern and Eastern)Shan State, (2°C) below December average temperatures in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Chin, Rakhine, Kayah States and about December average temperature in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (-2°C) in Hakha, (2°C) in Namsam, (3°C) each in Heho and Mogoke, (4°C) each in Kyaukmae, Tiddim and Pyinoolwin and (5°C) each in Loilin and Mongyang.
BAY INFERENCE:Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea, South Bay and Westcentral Bay and a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 18th December, 2021: Light rain are likely to be isolated in Taninthayi Region. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, MandalayRegions and Kachin, Northern Shan, Chin, Rakhine States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA:Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4 -7)feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Slight decrease of night temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, (Northern and Eastern)Shan, Chin States.
