BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (06:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over South Thailand and adjoining South Andaman Sea now lies over Central Andaman Sea still persists. It is forecast continuously move to West- Northwestwards and further intensify into a depression over Southeast Bay and adjoining East Central Bay of Bengal around (2.12.2021) and into a cyclonic storm over Central Bay of Bengal around (3.12.2021). Weather is cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 01st December, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region and isolated in Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35)m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (7-9) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and about (4-7) feet off and along Rakhine Coast.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated to scattered rain or thundershowers in Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Mon State.
